We have five comfortable adjoining villas in a row, in Alsancak, North Cyprus. some 5 miles west of Kyrenia. Each has three twin/double bedded rooms and can sleep up to eight people.

The villas are spacious and well equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, fridge freezer, full sized cooker, microwave, satellite TV, DVD/CD player. Each villa has broadband internet connection, and is air conditioned throughout. Outside there is a shaded dining area with chairs, tables, sun loungers and a barbecue: indeed everything for an easy out-door lifestyle. An elevated sun deck gives a view over the sea and the spectacular mountain range. There is a large carport and the walled garden offers privacy and your own space. The villas have interconnecting gates so there is ease of access when your party has more than one villa. The villas are 400m from the sea and a small beach and each of the villas has a solar heated pool.

Friends Hotel - this brand new modern hotel with stunning views of mountains and sea is set in 5 acres of landscaped gardens is well known for its relaxed atmoshere, which makes it popular with couples and families alike. There is a large pool with jacuzzi. Each of the 16 en suite rooms has a minibar, television, telehone and air conditioning.

Sempati Hotel - a comfortable family run hotel which offers friendly service and high standards. Situated in a tranquil area with a wonderful mountain backdrop it offers spectacular views of the Mediterranean Sea. Each of its 35 en suite rooms has a mini bar, satellite television, air conditioning and direct dial telephone. It has an indoor restaurant and lounge bar.

Several other beaches are nearby and the local minibus service along the coastal road stops right outside the villas and takes you into Kyrenia (the main town) for very little! There are 3 supermarkets locally; one at walking distance from the villas. Eating out is reasonable and there are about 20 eateries within half a mile. Right next door is our popular friendly local Mambo's Bar. Beer is still about a £1 a pint and the locals are exceptionally friendly; they are actually pleased to serve you.

The Eastern Med has lovely sunny winters (still upto 20C in December) and apart from January and February it is unusual to need more than a light jumper in the evenings. Villas cost £150 to £490 per week.
