North Cyprus is a great place for off roading. There are hundreds of miles of tracks and trails everywhere - mountains, beaches, forests. Most of the tracks are firm, indeed mud is rare, and there are no rights of way - you may go anywhere just like the UK (not!)
The jeeps we use are Suzuki Jimnies or Vitaras, which are covered by special off road insurance (we are the only ones on the island to have this extra insurance) and if you wish a member of our local North Cyprus 4x4 off road club can take you out. Alternatively we have a wide range of maps available. Simply get in to your jeep and 500m from Riverside you will find yourself heading for the mountains. Enjoy the breathtaking views from the amazing Kyrenia Mountain Trail (143 miles), or for an extra special experience have a few days 'wild' camping on the amazing Karpaz peninsula, an area of unspoilt beauty and wildlife, and remote golden beaches. A beach, a tent and a barbecue - what more could you want for an unforgettable experience.

Join one of our exciting jeep safaris and discover the spectacular scenery of
Full day Safari (9 till 4) - collection from your hotel and up to the mountain range. Enjoy astonishing views over the coastal plain far below, visit the 1974 tank followed by a refreshment stop at the amazing Kozan restaurant. After that we pass through the villages of Kozankoy, Hisarkoy, drive around the Geçitkoy reservoir, visit the Blue House and drive to Akdeniz Beach (a nine miles sandy beach) for a swim (bring your swimmers) and lunch (included).
Half day Safari, west of Kyrenia (9 till 1) - same as whole day tour but missing out the Blue House and Akdeniz beach. Visit Geçitkoy for refreshments. Lunch not included.
Half day Safari east of Kyrenia (9 till 1) - up to the Buffavento Pass, set high over Kyrenia, drive around the Five Finger Mountain, see the spectacular view from Lovers Leap, visit Sourp Magor Maronite Monastery, follow ridge path on Kyrenia Mountain Trail with sensational views high over both sides of the mountain range.
